State Primary Standard of Unit Temperature for Radiation in the Range From 1357.7 K to 2800 K
The state primary standard of unit temperature on radiation of DETU 06-03-96 is intended for reproduction, storage and transfer of the size of unit of temperature on radiation in the range from 1357 K to 2800 K to standard and working means of measuring equipment.
Reproduction of a unit of temperature is carried out by an optical method according to the Provision on the International temperature scale of 1990 (ITS-90). The construction of the temperature scale is based on the ratio that follows from Planck's law. When reproducing a unit of temperature, a completely "black body" emitter is used at the phase transition of high-purity copper hardening and a monochromatic linear pyrometer LP-4.
The transfer of the unit temperature to the secondary standards is performed by the method of direct measurements and comparison with a comparator in accordance with DSTU 3194: 2005 "Metrology. State calibration scheme for temperature measuring instruments. Non-contact temperature measuring instruments ".

The standard is also used for calibration of measuring instruments used in industries related to energy conservation, ecology, human safety in man-made accidents, in the performance of scientific research.
