State Primary Standard of Units of Average Power in a Pulse of Radiation, Power of Continuous Radiation in a Fiber and Time of Distribution of Radiation in a Fiber
Reproduction and maintenance of units of average power in a pulse of radiation (Watt) in the wavelength range from 0,4 μm to 1,6 μm; pulse duration range – from 5⋅10-8 s to 2⋅10-7 s, pass frequency range – from 100 Hz to 5 MHz; power of continuous radiation in a fiber (Watt) and time of distribution of radiation in a fiber (second) at fixed wavelengths in the wavelength range from 0,8 μm to 1,7 μm.
Transferring of the size of units:
- average power in a pulse of radiation by the method of direct measurements;
- power of continuous radiation in a fiber by the method of direct verification;
- time of distribution of radiation in a fiber by the method of indirect measurements
to working standards and directly to the working devices used for monitoring and control of fiber-optic data transmission systems.
