State Primary Standard Unit of Luminous Intensity
The State primary standard of Luminous Intensity is intended for reproduction and storage of units of light, illumination and lighting, and also for transfer, the size of these units to working standards and working means of measuring equipment applied in Ukraine for the purpose of ensuring unity and reliability of measurements. The National Research Center "Institute of Metrology" performs independent reproduction of units of light, illumination and illumination according to the definition. Reproduction is carried out using an absolute radiation receiver based on a trap detector, the spectral sensitivity of which is close to the spectral sensitivity of the human eye. An incandescent lamp is used as a source in a mode such that its spectrum of radiation coincides with the spectrum of radiation of a standard source of type A.
