Scientific & Technical Conference
“METROLOGY AND MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES”
(“METROLOGY–2016”),
which will be held on 5-7 October 2016 at the National Scientific Centre “Institute of Metrology” in Kharkiv
The purpose of the conference is to promote the development of metrology and to implement its achievements in researches, practice and study.
Issues to be discussed at the conference:
•    reproduction and dissemination of the units of New Si;
•    measurement theory and uncertainty of the results of measurement;
•    reproduction and transferring the sizes of the units of physical quantities;
•    comparisons of measurement standards;
•    measurement methods and techniques;
•    calibration and verification;
•    legal metrology;
•    information and measuring systems, smart measurements;
•    international cooperation.
Participants are welcome to submit papers on the following types of measurements: Acoustics, Ultrasound, Vibration (AUV); Length and Angle (L); Time and Frequency (TF); Ionizing Radiation (RI); Mass and Related Quantities (M); Flowmetry (F); Temperature (T), Physical Chemistry (QM); Photometry and Radiometry (PR); Electricity and Magnetism (EM).
Key dates:
16 May – deadline for the submission of application form for participants with paper;
1 June – deadline for the submission of papers;
1 September – deadline for the submission of application form for participants without paper;
1 October – deadline for payments;
4–5 October – arrival of the participants;
5 October – opening of the conference.

Conditions of participation in the conference

Papers (3-4 full pages) can be submitted in Ukrainian, Russian or English (optionally). Basic, review and subject-determining papers will be considered at the plenary sessions.
Participants shall meet the following requirements in order for their papers to be included into the conference program and published in the conference proceedings:

•    submission of Application form for participation in the conference;
•    conformity of the paper topic with the subject of the conference;
•    submission to the Organizing Committee a paper drawn up in exact accordance with the requirements;
•    expert conclusion;
•    timely payment of the organization fee.
After receiving Application form from you, an invoice for payment of organization fee, contract and act on conducted works in two copies will be sent to your address.
The organization fee is 60.00 EUR per participant.
The organization fee is to be transferred obligatory with the notice “For participation of (first name, last name) in the Conference “Metrology-2016”.
Submitted papers will not be published without payment!
